Do this

• Use the front — the side with your photograph.
• Fit the whole card in the picture, corners included.
• Lay it flat on a plain, dark surface.
• Use bright, even light and turn the flash off.

Avoid

• The back of the card — we cannot read it.
• Cut-off corners or edges.
• Glare or shadow across your photo or the numbers.
• A photo of a screen or a photocopy — both blur the text.
